Adam Fennell
Having started in the Insurance industry at the age of 16 as
a stop gap until he could secure a professional football career, Adam is still an insurance broker 30 years on and is still
waiting for that call!!!
Having taken over the reins at Acorn in 2000 Adam has more than 25-years senior management experience. Over the years he has built up an enviable wealth of knowledge in all aspects of commercial broking, especially so within the Property, Construction, Entertainment and Leisure sectors.
As a “hands-on” managing Director, Adam is fully immersed in the day to day activities of the business and is proud to set the high ethical standards to which Acorn aspire in all their many activities.
Paul Absalom
Steve Growns
Steve joined the team at Acorn in 2014 and brings a blend
of 30-years’ professional experience and strong technical knowledge combined with a passion for customer service.
Having previously worked as office manager and subsequently Branch manager for a “national broker” he is able to turn his hand to most things although Steve’s specialties are more likely to include dealing with our “high net-worth” and “executive” clients as well as providing professional indemnity and managerial liability policies for our established and more wide-ranging and up-and-coming professional clients.
In addition he also brings considerable experience in the management of our dedicated national property and landlord schemes.
Initially with 20-years previous Financial Services background
Paul joined Acorn’s management team back in 2005 and has subsequently initiated the launch of the successful “Elite” landlords Residential Let property scheme which has proved so popular all over the UK for all types of landlords.
In addition he has developed the Engineering, Manufacturing and Aviation lines of the business dramatically. Paul adds
his managerial and extensive experience to the team at Acorn to continually help, promote and develop the professional levels
of service and expertise required in today’s challenging and
ever-changing environment.
